Michael spent 5 years selling industrial automation and electrical equipment around Victoria. His previous experience working at The Good Guys allowed him to see how much a good conversation on the floor was worth to a customer. Online, that conversation did not exist, so co-founded Preezie in 2016 to bring that guidance onto retail websites. Inside Small Business named him one of its Top 50 Small Business Leaders in 2022.
Quoc spent two decades in corporate finance before he helped start a retail software company. He began at Deloitte, moved to PKF, and then did corporate advisory and takeover work for ASX-listed clients. As chief financial officer of AC Components he took the wholesaler through interstate expansion and a run of acquisitions, until Reece bought it in 2014. Quoc co-founded preezie the following year. He has relocated to Denver, Colorado, to head up its US office.
Michael and Quoc have spent a decade watching where online stores lose customers: too much choice, not enough guidance, and a shopper who gives up. Preezie is the assistant that walks them to the right product instead.
