Workforce health analytics
Omni Biotech builds physiological analytics for workforce health and performance. Using data from existing wearables, its algorithms measure hydration and heat strain to help employers manage safety risk in demanding conditions.
Will worked as an equity research analyst, then in growth at an education company, before going full time on Omni. He met Zac Farrow for the first time in California, on Stanford's International Honours Program. They spent years trialling non-invasive monitoring devices. He handles product, research and algorithm design, and holds a university associate role at Curtin on IP commercialisation.
Zac grew up in Western Australia and studied at Curtin on a Wesfarmers High Achiever scholarship, with law in mind at the time. He met Will Poot for the first time in California, on Stanford's International Honours Program. Omni came out of a brief there to prototype something world-changing. He runs sales, partnerships and site integration into heavy industry.
Will and Zac are from Perth, the resources capital of the world. On the sites around them, dehydration quietly costs workers their safety and companies their output. They're building the fix.
